The Education Foundation scholarship application deadline is August 4, 2024, at 5 p.m. CDT. Scholarships awarded must be utilized at Southwestern Community College during the 2024-25 academic year. Scholarships are awarded based on many criteria. The information provided allows college officials to evaluate the student's fit for appropriate scholarships. 

Applications will not be considered complete until the following required elements are submitted:

  • Creative writing essay -The writing assignment is as follows: In 300 words or less - - Who has been your biggest influence in your life and why?

No incomplete or late applications will be accepted.

Scholarship application scoring will include grammar, academics, community involvement, educational goals, and the essay.

To complete this scholarship application, the student must first create an account.
